Who We Are

Kissito Healthcare in Bland County is a 57 bed dually certified facility located in the foothills of Southwest Virginia. We are located just off of Interstate 77 at exit 58 in Bastian, Virginia. Our home serves Bland, Tazewell, Wythe, Smyth, and Giles counties in Virginia and Mercer and McDowell counties in West Virginia. Our facility is in a rural setting, where you can look out of your window and see the deer grazing in the field across the road, and enjoy the birds that come to feed in our back yard feeders. We are part of Kissito Healthcare, a not-for-profit healthcare provider committed to growing through the continued development of our Collaborative Patient Care Pathway™. This patient-centered approach emphasizes collaboration, coordination and partnership among patients, families, hospital caregivers and post acute healthcare teams to produce smoother care transitions, improved outcomes and reduced costs.
